    I really appreciated the ability to get eTickets on our phones via email. It made the travel much less stressful as it was one less thing to worry about before arriving to port.

    I do have a suggestion (if such a thing can be passed on to the actual ferry companies from FerriesinGreece). Once on the ferry for every company (whether SeaJets or BlueStar Ferries), I noticed they had TVs on in the cabin areas with the sound off. I would like to pass on a recommendation to these companies that rather than a TV show on mute, it would be preferred to instead have a display on the screen of the itinerary: which islands the ferry will travel to and the estimated arrival times. This seems like an inexpensive and easy way to keep the passengers informed. Also, upon disembarking there was at times confusion as to whether we should be leaving from the right side or left side of the ferry. Again, the TV screens would be much better utilized to display this kind of information for passengers and would make things more efficient as well for the ferry staff in directing passengers on what to do. If you can pass on this feedback to the ferry companies, please do! Thank you!

    Hi, thank you for your comment. We are sorry that you have had to deal with cancelled itineraries on both the outbound and return journeys. The outbound trip was cancelled due to bad weather and in such cases this is a decision taken by the port authorities a few hours before departure time. This is also the reason why we informed you by e-mail and SMS two hours before departure when we were informed by the ferry company. Please note that when a trip is cancelled due to force majeure, the ferry company is only obliged to refund the full price of the ticket, to the exclusion of any other expenses. This is something you also agreed to in the terms and conditions before making this booking.
    Regarding the return trip with Alpha Ferries, it was cancelled due to mechanical problems and you were informed directly by SMS by the ferry company the day before your departure, so we're glad that this way you had time to change your tickets locally for another itinerary.
