We did island hopping in Greece. The bookings were very easy. The ferries were always on time. In fact, it is not necessary to be at the port 1.5 hours before departure. However, in the digital age, we found it unnecessary and time-consuming to have to go to an office every time to have the tickets printed! And to pay for it even though we had already paid a processing fee when booking!

We had to reschedule our trip to Greece due to covid in 2020 and were not able to use our ferry tickets. FerriesinGreece were very prompt and helpful in issuing a credit for our ticket and when we were ready to use them in 2021, they found the best tickets for us for the island we wanted using our credit. Their customer service is exceptional! Very professional, courteous, knowledgable, friendly and prompt in responding to requests! Great service! will use the again and again.

The trip itself was pleasant, but long, the boat seemed slow (20km / h on the GPS). -

The booking and payment process is very good.
However, a printout of the tickets on the PC or PDF / QR code-based e-tickets should be offered. I do not understand why tickets are still required to be printed out in a local office (for a fee) today. Therefore only 4 instead of 5 stars.

We totally agree with you that E-tickets should be available and that you should not have to go and pick up your printed tickets before embarkation but regrettably, not all the ferry companies in Greece support this yet.
Thankfully more and more companies each year offer this solution so we are really positive that soon there will be no need to search for any central office on any island.

We took our first ferry from Patra to Sami. The need to go to the office to take the tickets, without the possibility to get e-tickets by mail, was pretty oppressive. In addition, the explanation we got in the ticket office about how to find the ferry was quite confusing. We ended up looking for the ferry all around the port and we were afraid to miss it, even though we got to the place early as required. It turned out that the ferry just haven't arrived yet. It would have been considerate of you to put BIG signs out of the port, in the main road outside, and in the port itself, saying "TO THE FERRY" in the prominent and striking colors of yellow and black of the logo of "Levante Ferries". The trip itself was very nice. On our way back from Sami to Patra: no problem to find the ferry because everything is very small and clear in Sami. The crew who's in charge of loading the car onto the ferry wasn't so nice this time. They were quite impatient, they let us go on the ferry last even though we were there first, and it took some time for them to understand that we speak English. The man who instructed us with the car when going on board was shouting unidentified words in unidentified language at first, until he understood that I speak English. The trip itself was very nice this time, also. Thank you!
