About Agistri

 

Located in the heart of the Saronic Gulf, Agistri offers a good choice for short excursions from Athens. Surrounded by much greenery, this island has wonderful beaches and serene landscape, despite its small size.

Agistri has three villages: Megalochori (or Myli), Skala, which is the most tourist place, and Limenari that remains secluded. Among the loveliest beaches of Agistri are Halikiada, Aponissos and Dragonera, while the most popular is Skala.

Agistri is connected by ferry and hydrofoil to Piraeus and other islands of the Saronic Gulf. Ferries arrive in Skala while hydrofoils arrive in Myli (Megalochori). There is a bus between Skala and Myli on a daily basis.
